How To Select a Limousine Type and Size
Riding in a limo provides you with a lot of options as to what you can and cannot

BMW Sedan, or an SUV. Of course, you may want something with a bit more room in
it, either for comfort or because of the number of people who will be traveling
in the limousine with you. Some people will want one that seats six people, but
the trick here is that most limousine companies have six passenger limousines that
will only fit a maximum of five people because of safety reasons and a seat needed
for the driver. Be aware of this and you won’t be left up the creek with someone
standing on the sidewalk as you drive off because there is no room for them in the
limousine.

limousines will sit a large number of people, often from about 12 to 20 people.

Another alternative, that is not as luxurious but just as comfortable, is a mini-van
and mini-bus. They are great ways to travel from Point A to Point B especially as
part of a limo tour of a city or in an airport transfer.
If you are having a large Bachelor or Bachelorette party, or a prom party, one
of the best types of limousines you can take is a full-size charter bus that seats
50 people and is great for group tours or special events. They often have DVD Players,
televisions and comfortable seating. They are anything but a school bus and they
are a great way to party for a night, or see a foreign city.
When you order a limousine for special event, some companies will even provide
you with perks you may not have thought of for your limousine ride. These include
liquor, chocolate, champagne, tin cans for a wedding and more. Roses are common
on Valentine’s Day and even things like strobe lights and fiber optic lighting can
be provided for special events.
The type of limousine service you get will have a large bearing on the type of
limousine you have. You could use a small limousine for an airport transfer, but
larger things like prom and weddings will require bigger limousines. It is best
when you are looking at getting a limousine that you find out what will work best
for you and get a service quote from the limousine company. You can reserve your
limousine, often months in advance, but when you do ensure that you take into account
how many people will be in the limousine and what is the type of event that you
are going to or from.
